Wow. This place feels so empty. Does anyone use livejournal anymore? It really doesn't seem like it. Kind of creepy though.

Oh well. I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I will be attending C2E2, Acen and Wizard World 2014. Anime Midwest is too small of a con anyway. I'm also going to dive deeper into the crossplay universe.
Just so that everyone knows what I'm talking about, here's a link and a video:

I'm well aware that many Mega Man fans have lost a lot of respect for Capcom over the constant cancellations of the Mega Man games. However, in this case, I feel that it's good this one was canceled. In my honest opinion, it just doesn't have that "Mega Man" feel to it. I mean, sure it looks awesome to some, but I just can't feel it. In this picture, Mega Man looks like Cobra Commander trying to impersonate the Terminator. It just doesn't work. I kind of understand what was trying to be done with the whole FPS system and trying to revive the series so that it meets modern standards, but it seems lacking in style.

If Capcom really wanted to make a revival of the series without being cowards about it, they could look at the New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii U games for some kind of approach. An idea I have is if they were to keep the original Mega Man formula, while keeping the characters the way they are, they could just update the graphics and make them much smoother. I mean, the "defeat the robot masters of every level and obtain their powers" formula would remain, but the graphics would look smoother, without repeating the mistakes of Mega Man X7. This could work if there was ever going to be a new Mega Man X game. This is just something that I would recommend to Capcom if they were seriously open to suggestions that would help them start a project and stick with it at the same time.

With all of the Mega Man games released over the years, I always saw the game as colorful, but dark at the same time (for example, the Mega Man Zero series). This project wouldn't have worked. Recently, I read somewhere that Mega Man Universe, Mega Man Online and Mega Man Legends 3 were all canceled because they didn't meet the company's expectations. It feels like a weak explanation, and there has to be a better reason as to why these games keep getting canceled.  Mega Man Online I can understand, but Mega Man Legends 3 would have met expectations. It would have even sold well.

I had to get this out in the open. It feels like the series had shut down after Keiji Inafune (the creator of the Mega Man series) left Capcom. There are legions of Mega Man fans out there, and they, myself included, wish for the Blue Bomber to make a return.
Lately, I've been severely addicted to a candy from England called Jelly Babies. They're super good. In fact, I'm going to order more boxes of them.  I had some last night and had another crazy dream. Here it goes:

I had a dream that I was walking around a church. On the corner, I saw a giant turtle. It started speaking in a gargling voice and mimicked everything I would say. I took it home to give it some water. When I got out of the kitchen, it had turned into a young beautiful woman with blonde hair. She wasn't wearing anything. She started speaking more clearly and we got along pretty well.  The next scene involved us in a shopping mall, shopping to get her some new clothes. When we left a clothing store, there was blood and dead bodies all over the place. In front of us was another young woman dressed in red and black, and had a Satanic aura. Then I woke up.

So yeah. I'm orderig more Jelly Babies.

Summer Weather in October? Bullshit!

The weather is once again hot. I call it Summer's last stand even though it's Fall. I'd much rather have the cool weather back.

In other news, I'm going to the Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert tomorrow night. Since they don't allow swords in the concert (which I understand so that the psychos can be kept out), I'll be wearing Oracle Link and have my Rod of Seasons with me. It'll be rainy, but I'm still going. I've never been to this sort of thing before. I've only heard stories about how awesome this kind of experience is. I ended up with a front row seat. I have no complaints about it. It's just something that I ended up falling into. I guess this will be my Halloween outing for the weekend. On the day of Halloween, I'll just have a monster movie marathon. If I go to the Halloween party on Friday, I'll be Fou-Lu from Breath of Fire IV. I just finished it and I haven't gotten any pictures of it yet. I kind of want to wait until an evening when I can get some outdoor pictures in front of a full moon (that's just how he rolls). Too bad I don't have a photographer....yet.

I was in a class where everything was familiar. Why is that? It was same class I was in during my Student At Large days (last fall). I got out of it, and I don't have to go to class until January (SCORE). I guess I can continue adding a huge chunk to my story. I have a whole bunch of ideas I want to add to it.

That's about it for now. Man. I REALLY need to get back into the habit of jogging in the morning.....

Alright! Welcome to my new LJ page. It's a new transition from <lj user="fango_7"> . I wanted to start fresh so here I am. If you want to add me, let me know. It will be nice to have you aboard.
